The medieval village of Étroubles hosts a series of museums of great artistic and historical interest.
The Open-Air Museum, unique in its kind in the Aosta Valley, is a permanent exhibition of artworks scattered throughout the village, surrounding the Bertin Power Plant and the ancient turnery dairy. These two important historical landmarks have been carefully restored and used as exhibition sites.
