Molline Bivouac (Giorgio Masenga)

The Molline Bivouac is located at a height of 2,415 meters above sea level in the Menouve Valley at the feet of Mont Vélan (3,710 meters), along the itinerary of the High Route No. 1 and the Tour des Combins.
The facility is equipped with a hydroelectric power station that operates during the summer months when water is present in the nearby stream, 16 beds, a stove, a kitchen, and a dining room. It is easily accessible from Col Champillon, from the hamlet of Prailles (Étroubles), and from the Swiss municipality of Bourg-Saint-Pierre via Col Menouve (2,757 m), Col Molline (2,907 m), and Col d’Annibal (2,992 m).

The Molline Bivouac remains open all year, even during the winter season. A double steel door has recently been installed, and all users are kindly asked to close it properly.

For information, contact the village of Étroubles during office hours.
