Château Verdun

Château-Verdun, at an altitude of 1350 meters, is a strong house dating back to the 10th-11th centuries. In 1137, it was donated by the House of Savoy to the Canons of the Great St. Bernard, who used it as a farm under the hospice and as a stopping point for travelers.

The strong house continues its mission of hospitality. The building, completely restored, welcomes individual pilgrims or organized groups with 57 beds, offering full or partial board. It features 2 chapels, several meeting rooms, and a multipurpose hall.
